How can I add Live Chat to my website?

It’s really easy to add Live Chat to your website by following these steps:

  • Sign up for a free 14-day trial (no credit card required).
  • You will be emailed your tracking code
  • Place the code in your websites HTML
  • Log in to the application and chat with your websites visitors
What is the duration of the Free Trial?

You will receive a completely free 14 day trial to evaluate the live chat software on your website.

Do I need to enter my credit card details when creating free trial account?

No credit card details are required. Your credit card details will only be needed when upgrading your account from free trial to paid after your trial period has ended.

Where can I download Live Chat?

After you have signed up for the trial you will be emailed a link where you can download the live chat software.

I don’t know how to add the script on my website? Can you help me?

Yes of course. Once you’ve signed up send an email with your name and FTP details to integration@livechat.uk.com

How many agents can I have?

It’s completely unlimited. You just pay per seat. You can easily scale your live chat support up from 1 agent to hundreds in just a few clicks.

Can I access chat history?

Yes. Basic accounts can access the last 60 days call history for all agents. Other accounts provide unlimited Chat history. 

Can I greet my website visitors?

Yes. You can automatically greet your website visitors when they land on the website, after a set period of time, or make an action on the site.

Can I integrate Live Chat with Facebook messenger?

Yes. Live Chat software can be integrated with Facebook messenger so you can provide support to your Facebook users via one application.

Can I design and customise chat widget?

Yes. You can completely customise how you want your chat widget to look including colour, logo, text and on higher packages can remove the branding completely.

Can I use Live Chat on multiple websites?

Yes. You can embed the same live chat widget on an unlimited amount of websites.

Does live chat work with my e-commerce solution?

The live chat software integrates with a number of popular e-commerce solutions. You can also set goals, track sales, get sales information and target visitors from your campaigns.

Can I preview what customers are typing?

Yes. The live chat app provides you a sneak-peak of what the customers typing before they hit send.

What pricing plans are available?

There are four live chat pricing plans available:

  • Starter (£12 per seat/month): For smaller companies and startups
  • Team (£25 per seat/month): Perfect for small and medium businesses, comes with team-based features.
  • Business (£38 per seat/month): Designed for medium to large businesses, with advanced reporting and management options.
  • Enterprise (£113 per seat/month): For big enterprise businesses that need the help of a dedicated Key Account Manager.

What is the refund policy?

You can cancel your live chat account at any time. However, credit from already processed payments will be lost and will not be refunded.

What are the limitations of a trial account?

The features available in the free trial are the same as those on the team plan. You can use up to 100 seats and add as many agents as you like whilst testing out the live chat software completely limitation free.
